Brad Pitt plays as a gangster out to get two punks for stealing from the mob. He's started smoking again and he looks fucking cool doing it.

Film: Taken 2
I am not going to lie. I haven't been this excited in a long time. Liam Neeson is back and is being hunted down by the family that he absolutely annihilated in Taken. Get ready for more of the skills we saw that could arguably take down Jason Bourne and James Bond put together. This looks incredible.
Harvard Sq AMC Loews Cinema Closing!
Shock horror! The cinema in the middle of Harvard will closing meaning that the nearest cinema will now be a subway ride away! Very sad. The last film I watched there was Marvel's awesome Avengers so I cannot be too unhappy. On the lookout for another cinema you can sneak beer into - any suggestions welcome.
Here is what The Crimson has to say (with a few comments specifically on the history of the cinema).

FILM: Frat House
One of Todd Phillip's first movies. This documentary gives a detailed account of what it was like to pledge frats in the dark days of the 90's. Truly interesting, truly terrifying and at the same time...somewhat amazing.
Todd Phillip's directed and produced The Hangover, Road Trip, Project X, Old School and Starsky and Hutch. He's a bankable comedy genius. Enjoy.

MUSIC: Alex Clare - Too Close
Great song and a cool video. A more positive note to leave you with after my scathing Cosmopolis review.
FILM REVIEW: Cosmopolis
The basis for the film sounds promising. It's about a 28 year old billionaire and how everything goes wrong for him over the course of a day as he travels in his limo to get his haircut on the other side of town.
Even the promise that Pattinson has sex multiple times should be a draw for many viewers such as teenage girls (or maybe just all girls).
Despite this, the acting is terrible. This is a product of the dialogue which is simply awful and which will have you questioning what was going on in the writer's mind as the screenplay was drawn up and the directing which is amateur. A surprise seeing as Cronenberg is at the helm. Unfortunately for the actors, this disastrous combination makes them look just as bad...it looks like Pattinson will have to step aside as a sexual symbol for a number of years to come.
I've never been to a cinema and seen droves of people leave halfway through, yet this is what happened with this movie. I waited outside the screen to see what people were saying as they left and the one word I kept hearing was 'terrible'. The one phrase I kept hearing was 'what the fuck was that?'
Proceed with caution with this one...you've been warned 3/10.

Documentary: Jiro Dreams of Sushi
This isn't the kind of thing one would suspect me to post on here but I haven't posted in a while so thought I'd start with a weird one. In the last few weeks I have really had nothing to do except watch films and read books (like the back to back to back Bourne marathon I did a couple days ago... Looking forward to the NEW Bourne film: The Bourne Legacy).
Documentaries are something that I am really getting into (especially now Man on Wire is now placed at the top of Rotten Tomatoes' greatest films) and 'Jiro Dreams of Sushi' is one I haven't yet watched but I think looks fascinating. Below is the trailer. It has great reviews so I recommend people check it out - I certainly am going to.
I am going to be taking a documentary course at the London Film Academy this Summer which I am really excited about.

Who'd ever thought we'd see the day when one of my favorite artists and Caspar's favorite artist would combine!? Great find Gabrielle.

I don't care about the product, but the advert for the video is amazing. A great spin on a sports product for all to enjoy...be the after hours athlete.

TRAILER: Ill Manors
New film by the music artist Plan B. Should be an interesting watch as there are some cool shots in the trailer and it looks reminiscent of Kidulthood. Also features many of Plan B's songs.
