Will Ferrell, dressed as Anchorman's Ron Burgundy, last night announced on Conan O'Brien's TBS talk show that a sequel to Anchorman is in the works right now! Such incredible news! Watch the clip below of the announcement and then watch the clip below that of the original film's best lines... it's sure going to be a tough act to follow!

Music: Birdy - Skinny Love

A song that only just seem to be picking up across the pond (apologies to anyone who heard this last year). It seems very popular at the moment and I just thought I'd bring it to a little more light for those who haven't yet heard it already. She is very English and has a great voice. I'm not going to lie, I prefer it by Bon Iver, but this is something different and we all like something different once in a while. The Das Kapital Rerub is also very cool (below Birdy version).

Also check out THIS, it is her version of The XX's 'Shelter'!

Music: Gil Scott-Heron And Jamie xx - I'll Take Care of You

A great song for whatever mood you are in. I'm putting this up specifically for the person who showed it to me as they are going through a very hard time right now (puss!). Just close your eyes and enjoy this song (and let's all crack a smile at 2.34 when the song picks up again).

Music: Gotye - Eyes Wide Open

While being older than the popular "Somebody That I Used to Know," Eyes Wide Open is a really great song. Wouter De Backer ('Gotye') has a really easy voice to listen to and he likes to make some funky animations for music vids. Not sure how this one really relates to the song but it's cool nonetheless!

Music: Calvin Harris feat. Ne-Yo - Let's Go

New Calvin Harris. Really like the song, kind of "pop"y but still a good listen.

However, I really miss Calvin Harris' singing. Here's what he said back in 2010 after singing on his first two studio albums, I Created Disco and Ready for the Weekend:

"I've stopped the live shows. I'm going to focus more on production and DJing and zero per cent of my time will go on singing.

I'll do tracks with people who can sing well - proper artists, proper performers. I can focus on what I'm much better at, which is making music. I'm just not cut out for that role.

I kind of fell into it a few years ago - the live show had to happen, I had to be the frontman because I was doing the vocals on the songs. It went all right. I spent a few years trying to get it really properly good, but it dawned on me it wasn't going to get much better. I've taken the singing thing as far as I can."

Calvin my friend, you are not "not cut out for that role"!

Below is 'Ready for the Weekend' sung by the awesome Scottish artist. Despite it being the end of the weekend, enjoy!

Film: Mishmash Film Comp.

Here is a very simple video. Would have taken one day to shoot, a bit of editing and then voice over of a poem, but the effect is great. I am on campus with rowing training over the whole of spring break so will be free to have a little fun with my camera. If anyone has any ideas for short films (poems, music vids, etc.) just whack me an email. I'd love to hear any ideas.

Also check out the other entries for the competition, there are some very cool ideas. This is also great: http://mishmash.gettyimages.com/en/entries/HTCM44

Music: Pentatonix Cover of Gotye

Here is an awesome cover of Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. The vocals are great, the video is pretty drastic but hey, just focus on the music not the lame camera shots. Enjoy.
